The Rolling Stones have denied that they are headlining Glastonbury Festival 2013, and have also denied that they plan to retire.
It was much rumoured that as part of their 50th anniversary tour, they would headline the festival.
Speaking with The Guardian, the band’s representatives insisted there is no truth to the claims and they also said the band would not be playing the festival.
The Glastonbury Press Office has also said
“Everybody in the year off thinks they’ve come up with the perfect Glastonbury lineup. But at the moment there isn’t anything to confirm or deny.”
