If you were listening to Radio 1 on Friday night, Annie Mac was talking about a brand new area for Glastonbury Festival 2013….Silver Hayes
Not actually a new area, but a re-imagining of The Dance Village
The New area will have one massive supertent with several areas within….at least, that’s how it comes across.
There will be Sonic – for dance oriented headliners
Wow Stage – for underground breakers
Gully – a brand new installation combining an open air stage and a pulsating street of sound systems and stalls featuring the best new DJs, MCs and live music.
Already announced to play within this new dance village are:-
Nas, Disclosure, Sub Focus, Aluna George, Eats Everything, Rudimental, Hot Natured, David Rodigan, The Congos
Silver Hayes takes its name from one of the oldest meadows on Worthy Farm
