The Invisible Festival takes place on Saturday the 8th of August.

They want you to turn you pad into the Best Festival In Town.

20 Acts will provide the music, you provide the venue and bring your mates.
They will provide ideas for making your festival really move, downloadable wristbands, visuals and music, ideas for camping at home, communcal food and most importantly, drink.

Eavis - "I won't retire until 2021"

Michael Eavis has hit out at reports that he's planning to step away from the legendary festival in a couple of years.

Earlier this week, various news sources claimed that the dairy farmer would be handing the organisational duties over to daughter Emily in 2011, but he insists the rumours are false.

Michael told BBC 6 Music: "It's rubbish, that story.

"I said I'll be finishing in 2021. So I'll be 81 by then."

2009 "Best One Ever"

Glastonbury organiser Michael Eavis has said this year's festival, which ended yesterday, was the best ever.

Eavis, who has a reputation for making the same statement every year, said the three headliners – Blur Bruce Springsteen and Neil Young – pleased everyone.

“Having Neil Young, who I've been waiting for for 39 years, and Bruce Springsteen just appear out of the blue - and of course Blur tonight - we've got three major, major headliners,” he told reporters.

"Neil Young pleased all the old hippie types and Springsteen pleased everyone else. He did a hell of a show, what energy he has at 58 years of age is amazing.

Arrests and injuries up on 2008 festival by Saturday

The number of arrests at this year’s Glastonbury festival has already exceeded the whole of the 2008 event.

116 festivalgoers people have been arrested so far, compared to a total of 89 in 2008.

The number of music fans admitted to the medical centre is also up on 2008 at 1793, while 31 people have taken to hospital.

Last year, 1466 people were treated during the whole festival.
